First off, did I mention that I feel like I got run over by a train? Because yeah that's still a thing. Very bruised (esp. around the knees) and very sore (esp. my neck and arms).
Anyway other highlights include:
1.) I had a lovely chat with King Steven (as he introduced himself), one of the actors who works at Oxford Castle (he informed me that they host murder mystery dinners and I for sure need to go to one next term!). I was passing him as I walked out and he walked in - him in his tunic and crown and robe, but he was actually the one that stopped me to compliment my costume (I was wearing my N7 hoodie) which was fun. And a nice chat with the lady working at the gift shop there. They are so nice!
2.) Learning to play Sid Meier's Civilization! No not the video game (I've played that before) the board game. It is, as you would guess, very strategic, and the type of game you leave sitting out set up because you haven't actually finished yet :P It's quite fun and very creative. Makes me miss all the games of Catan back home!
3.) I managed to make it to both rugby and church group on Wednesday, just barely. In other words I showed up to small groups covered in dirt. I think the only reaction I got was "did you win?" I also had to point out that it wasn't *my* blood on my knee. So there was that...
4.) DID I MENTION I GET TO COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS BECAUSE THAT IS EXCITING
